The
Leadership Cares Annual Golf Classic
On Monday, August
4th, 2003 the Leadership Cares Foundation will host it’s annual golf
classic. The tournament will be held at Bretton Woods Country Club, 15700
River Road in Germantown, Maryland 20874.
Leadership Cares
teaches teenagers and young adults the leadership skills they need to be
successful in the market place. We build leadership skills by having the young
people get directly involved in participating and operating our three-outreach
programs. It is this “hands on “ approach that makes our programs
successful and ensures that our participants will be caring leaders in the
future in their businesses and communities. Proceeds from the Leadership Cares
Golf Classic will directly benefit our outreach programs in mentoring,
literacy training and hunger relief.
The day begins at
8:00am, with a continental breakfast followed by registration and warm-up. The
golf classic kicks off at 9:00am with a shotgun start. There will be prizes,
giveaways and golfer goodie bags as well as on-course refreshments.
Immediately following the tournament there will be a luncheon and awards
presentation.
The entry fee
for this year’s event is $1,000 per foursome. There are various sponsorship
opportunities available also. The field will be limited so sign–up early or
risk being put on a waiting list.
Your check should be
made payable to Leadership Cares and mailed to The Leadership Cares
Golf Classic at 10181 Nightingale Street, Gaithersburg MD 20882. The sign-up
sheet should accompany your check. Your check and sign-up sheet must be
received no later than July 25th, 2003. We look forward to being
